These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of online English language teaching services ("Services") to students ("Student", "you"). By booking a lesson or purchasing a package, you agree to the terms below.
1. Services
We provide online English language lessons, delivered via Zoom or Google Meet, in the following formats:
- Individual (1-on-1) sessions
- Pair lessons (2 students)
- Small group lessons (up to 4 students)
- Speaking clubs (optional, small group sessions available to enrolled students — see Section 10 for details and pricing)
All lesson materials (coursebooks, vocabulary sets, workbooks) are provided by the teacher at no extra cost. Students are not required to purchase any additional materials.
2. Getting Started
- Initial interview (free of charge): a 30-minute introductory call to discuss the student's goals, needs, level, and preferred schedule.
- Level assessment: the student is invited to take a British Council English level test, used as a baseline to design an effective, well-targeted program and to track progress over time.
- Trial week (50% discount): two lessons — one grammar-focused, one vocabulary-focused — offered at half price so the student can experience the teaching method before committing.
- Ongoing lessons: based on the standard schedule of 8 lessons per month (2 lessons/week), or as otherwise agreed during the introductory interview.
3. Pricing
| Lesson Type | Per Lesson (1 hour) | Monthly Package (8 lessons) |
|---|---|---|
| Individual (1-on-1) | 75 zł | 600 zł |
| Pair lesson | 55 zł | 440 zł |
| Group lesson (up to 4 students) | 40 zł | 320 zł |
| Speaking club | 40 zł (25% off for enrolled students) | — |
All prices are listed in Polish złoty (PLN).
4. Payment
- Lessons and monthly packages are paid in advance. A payment link is created and sent by the teacher one month ahead of the upcoming lessons, reserving the student's time slot.
- Payment can be made by bank transfer (for holders of Polish bank cards/accounts) or via a secure payment link sent by the teacher.
- Students who have been with us continuously for 3–6 months or longer may, upon request, be offered later payment (e.g., payment due at the start of the month rather than a month in advance) on a case-by-case basis.
5. Scheduling
- The standard schedule is 8 lessons per month (typically 2 lessons per week), to support steady, consistent progress.
- If a lesson cannot be held on its usual day, we prioritize rescheduling over cancelling, wherever possible.
- If a weekly lesson is missed and cannot be rescheduled within the same billing period, the student is not charged for that lesson.
- Students may request one week off per month, up to once every 3 months, by prior arrangement.
- Flexible scheduling (e.g., for students with shift-based professions such as doctors) is available. This need should be raised during the introductory interview, and the following week's schedule should be confirmed at least one day in advance wherever possible.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
By the student:
- Students may reschedule a lesson free of charge on the same day, subject to slot availability, or with as much advance notice as possible.
- Emergencies (health issues, work emergencies, and other genuine unforeseen circumstances): no charge applies, and the lesson is rescheduled.
- Other reasons (forgetting, oversleeping, scheduling mix-ups, or other personal reasons): the lesson is considered held, and full payment applies.
- No-shows: if a student does not attend a lesson, the teacher will contact them to determine the reason. If a genuine emergency is confirmed, no charge applies and the lesson is rescheduled. Frequent or repeated absences without valid reason (e.g., occurring most weeks of the month) will be treated as held lessons and charged accordingly.
- Pair and group lessons — catch-up sessions: if a student has a last-minute emergency (i.e., too late to reschedule the group's shared lesson time so that it suits all participants), the group or pair lesson proceeds as scheduled for the other student(s). The affected student is still charged the standard rate for that lesson but receives a separate 20–30 minute individual catch-up lesson with the teacher, covering the material missed, so they don't fall behind.
By the teacher:
- If the teacher needs to cancel or reschedule a lesson (illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances), the student will be notified as early as possible and the lesson will be rescheduled at no charge, or credited toward a future lesson.
7. Refund Policy
- Monthly packages are refundable for any lessons that have not yet been used.
- Refunds are issued for the unused portion of a package only; lessons already held or charged under the cancellation policy above are non-refundable.
- To request a refund, contact us using the details in Section 14.
8. Extended Inactivity
If a student does not complete home assignments for more than 3 consecutive weeks and shows a sustained lack of engagement, the teacher will check in with the student. If the student is unable to prioritize their studies at that time, we may suggest a break from lessons, with the option to resume after 1–2 months.
9. Code of Conduct
We aim to maintain a positive, respectful, and stress-free learning environment for all students. This includes:
- Politeness and respect toward the teacher and fellow students at all times.
- No rude, offensive, or discriminatory comments during lessons or group activities (e.g., speaking clubs).
- An open, honesty-first approach: if something about the lessons, materials, or group isn't working for you, we encourage you to raise it directly with the teacher so it can be addressed fairly — with consideration for all students involved.
Repeated violations of this Code of Conduct may result in removal from group activities (speaking clubs, group lessons) or, in serious or persistent cases, discontinuation of Services.
10. Optional Student Activities
The following are optional extras available to enrolled students at no additional cost unless stated otherwise:
- Speaking clubs (40 zł per session, a 25% discount off the standard 40 zł rate, for enrolled students): small groups of around 4 students for focused, useful speaking practice. After each session, the teacher prepares a Quizlet set with key vocabulary and grammar structures from the discussion topic. Sessions run via Zoom: the group discusses the topic together in the main session, then splits into breakout-room pairs so each student gets dedicated speaking time.
- Birthday recognition: students who choose to share their birth date (day and month) may receive a small gift from the teacher — given as a surprise sometime within the following few months, to extend the birthday spirit rather than being tied to the exact day.
- Secret Santa (Christmas season, optional participation): participating students write a short letter describing their interests and shipping details to their Secret Santa, and each participant receives a gift in return.
- Seasonal holiday lessons (Halloween in autumn, Easter in spring, Christmas in winter, Summer Festivals in summer): optional lessons exploring the culture, traditions, and history of English-speaking countries, with dressing up, themed vocabulary, and group activities that build motivation and a sense of community among students.
11. Liability
While we are committed to providing high-quality, personalized instruction, language learning outcomes depend on individual effort, consistency, and starting level, and we cannot guarantee specific results.

This information is used solely to deliver and manage our Services (scheduling, communication, and optional activities) and is not sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is processed in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us using the details in Section 14.
